All Pitt County HIgh Schools may apply...Applications MUST be submitted and postmarked by April 15, 2023 in order to be considered.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The Greenville (NC) Alumnae Chapter was established in 1965 and is dedicated to public service, scholarship, and educational excellence. The Greenville (NC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (GAC) will be awarding $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Pitt County who exemplify excellence in community service and overall outstanding academic achievement.

The final selection of scholarship recipients will be based upon cumulative grade point average, school/community involvement, recommendations, and an essay/personal statement. Recipients will be notified no later than May 8, 2023. All awards will be submitted directly to the college/university once proof of enrollment is received. Recipients will be expected to submit proof of enrollment in a college/university no later than October 1, 2023.
