DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INCORPORATED

Elizabeth "Liz" Blount

Chapter President

2023-2025

President's Welcome

Greetings and Welcome to the website of the Greenville (NC) Alumnae Chapter (GNCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated!

Greenville is the educational, economic and medical hub of eastern North Carolina. Our city is known as the "Gem of the East" and the home of the East Carolina University Pirates. We “treasure” our city as well as our dynamic chapter and all it has to offer

I have the extreme honor of being the 20th president of this wonderful chapter. It is indeed a privilege to stand on the shoulders of fifteen spirited women who shaped and molded the foundation of GNCAC. Charted May 1, 1965, these dedicated women preserved and established a chapter that focused on supporting women in the black community. As we continue to live out that legacy, GNCAC is committed to go from good to great in Sisterhood, Service, Scholarship and Social Action.

Our chapter programs align with our Five Point Programmatic Thrusts: Economic Development, Educational development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement. We strive to expand our reach and provide the necessary resources and collaborations to impact and enhance our community as we go forward with fortitude.

Please continue to visit our website and social media platforms for information on upcoming events and programs. For sorors who are looking to reestablish their commitment to a local chapter in the Greenville area, feel free to reach out to us via email at president@greenvillencalumnae.com.

Just like our city’s slogan says Find Yourself in Good Company with Greenville NC Alumnae Chapter!
