Economic Development

The Economic Development Program of the Greenville (NC) Alumnae Chapter (GNCAC) focuses on empowering and uplifting communities through economic education, advocacy, and support. The program aims to promote financial literacy, economic self-sufficiency, and wealth-building within marginalized communities.

GNCAC organizes workshops, seminars, and educational events to enhance financial literacy and money management skills. These programs aim to educate community members about budgeting, saving, investing, and other financial topics.

GNCAC also encourages entrepreneurship and supports small business development in underserved communities. It may provide resources, mentoring, and networking opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs and offer assistance in navigating the challenges of starting and maintaining a business.

Through its Economic Development Program, GNCAC strives to equip individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to overcome economic challenges, build wealth, and achieve economic empowerment.
