President's Welcome

Hello and Welcome to the Greenville (NC) Alumnae Chapter's website! As Chapter President, it's truly an honor to represent a group of phenomenal, dedicated women who are committed to making a difference right here in our community.

Greenville, North Carolina is where small-town charm meets big ideas. We're the home of East Carolina University, a growing medical district, and a diverse population of more than 90,000 people. Whether you're born and raised here or just passing through, Greenville is a place where people come together, support one another, and work toward a better future - and that's exactly what our chapter is all about.

As members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., we're grounded in our mission of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. Everything we do - from mentoring young girls to hosting economic awareness seminars to showing up at the polls - is done with love and purpose. Our array of programs and events align with the Sorority's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness and Involvement
  • Physical and Mental Health
  • Political Awareness and Involvement

Our theme is One Band, One Sound, One Delta, One GNCAC. We strongly believe that just like a marching band moves in sync, we along with other community partners can do so much more TOGETHER as one than we could ever do separately. We believe in lifting as we climb, and we're proud to continue that legacy in Eastern North Carolina.

If you're a member of our sorority looking to reconnect, a neighbor curious about what we do, or a community partner who wants to work together - welcome. We'd love to get to know you. Feel free to reach out via email at president@greenvillencalumnae.com or join us in service. Please continue to visit our website and social media platforms for information on upcoming events and programs.

Together, we're stronger - and together, we can continue to shine bright and make a meaningful impact.
